When "Horizons: Empire of Istaria" under went a name change to "Istaria: Chronicles of the Gifted" a new logo needed to be created.

First, we set a premise that the former logo did not meet - contrasted in black/white and looked good at all sizes.

Next we discussed with the entire team their ideas. I produced 21 initial concepts to get them discussing what they liked and what direction to take the logo. By deciding which aspects we did and ddin't like, the direction was further refined. Also, some constaints were set-up, such as serif fonts, capital letters for the title.

I produced 13 more concepts. My boss, Rick, and I listened to the team's feedback again, but it ultimately came down to what the two of us decided on. Rick and I discussed what we thought was best for many days. Finally, I produced the final vector logo from that.
