My goal was to create a low poly set of game models for a warehouse environment. I wanted to go as low poly as possible and let the textures make a believable scene. I sketched out a warehouse scene that I thought would be a fun FPS level and came up with a list of object models I could create.

I began by modeling and creating the textures for the main building. I created a tileable siding and floor tiles and a set of large and small windows. I set a scale for the level by defining the player height. The entire building is about 5 stories tall.

Next were the structural models, the shelving, the i-beam supports and the light fixtures. Together, these models make up the multiple floors that the players can jump between (they can even jump up ontop of the lights). The last models were the garage door and the box of boxes. The box models are what allow the player to jump between the different floors of the level, as well as provide cover.

I lit the scene with some fog lighting, for the final render. I have also included a render with flat lighting. The total polycount on this scene is 2123 triangles. Also, the 546 count is for all the i-beams, the most expensive elements in the scene.
