The second image on the left is the original photograph; it's an obscured view of a mountain, which I could unobscure with Photoshop. I came accross this photograph and knew it would be a great challenge to retouch the photo.
To fix this photograph just took tedious use of the clone, healing, burn, dodge, etc. tools of Photoshop. The final steps were cropping the image and improving the color and contrast.
I really enjoyed this project for the pure challenge of it. Even though it was tedious for the most part, it's also was about figuring out what should be there, basically reading the shadows and surrounding mountains.
